When you told her about parties in high school or trouble you and your friends got into, she laughs- she doesn’t condemn you. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t parent, because she does. But she values your honesty and knows that punishing you for being open with her won’t do any good.
5. You don’t feel lame spending a night in with her.
Some might feel weird spending a night with a bowl of popcorn and a scary movie with their mom: not you if you have a cool mom. Quality time s the best time.
