A College Girl’s Guide to the Gridiron (3)

How to Score
There are multiple ways to score, but touchdowns earn you the most points. Touchdowns are 6 points. There are also field goals, where the kicker kicks the ball into the goal post at the end of the field. They’re typically worth 3 points, unless they’re kicked after a touchdown. Then they’re worth one! Players can also go for a 2-point conversion after a touchdown, where the players attempt to get into the endzone from the 5 yard line, but they only have one attempt to do so!  There’s also a safety, in which the team earns 2 points! They score, and you get hype!

In the end, whoever has the highest score at the end of the 4th Quarter wins! If it’s a tie, they go into overtime, until the clock runs out and one of the teams score. Win or lose, you get to celebrate!

After a game or two, you’ll be talking trash and drinking with the guys. Who knows, you may even end up loving the game! Comment below with what you think, or any questions!
