To my Netflix account,
You and I have been together for a few years now. I’ll admit that at first I was slightly timid towards you because I didn’t know what I was getting myself into, but now you are one of the most important things in my life.
I still remember how we met. It all started out when my brother signed up for a free trial. Then after a while I realized that I needed more of you in my life. I would see your bright name in the darkness and realize that you were exactly what I needed.
However, sometimes you take things a little too far. You only want what’s best for me, but sometimes it’s just overbearing. I know that you don’t want me wasting my life away watching TV shows, but I think after I click “continue watching” once, you should get the hint. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for looking out for me, but sometimes I just need to be left alone with my shows.
