I don’t know about you, but hearing things like this on a weekly basis fires me up.
Now if you Google “football girl”, the only images that come up are half naked women, wearing nothing but makeup and a very, very small jersey.
Let’s get something straight.
Yes, I do understand football. That doesn’t mean that I wear super tiny jerseys and short shorts. I can not name the entire roster of every team in the League, but 9/10 times, I know exactly who you’re talking about, and their position. And you’re right, I DO know a lot, but not everything, and that has nothing to do with my gender. I don’t say the same thing to you about those chick flicks you know you watch, so don’t say it to me. Lastly, I don’t care if guys love me. I love the game, because I enjoy watching my teams do what they do best. I enjoy yelling at the TV like the refs can hear me, and I love how excited I am after a big win. I don’t do it for attention, because I’m a girl, or to look at Eric Decker’s butt every Sunday. I do it because I love the game, and I can’t think of a better way to enjoy this fall.
