AKRON, Ohio– A group of college students were injured when a bus overturned in Akron Sunday afternoon.
The bus was at the intersection of High and Selle streets when it hit a curb and overturned, police said. The bus driver told police there was a mechanical issue, which is under investigation.
Eight people were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
The passengers were Ohio University students traveling back to Athens.
