College is supposed to be a place where students can excel and grow. Students go to college for many reasons, but the main reason is to get an education. Education is something that is extremely important, without education what can you honestly do in life? Many students think that going to college is suppose to be a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.. a time where the memories will live on forever. But what about the college students who fail out because they choose partying over school? What about the college students who choose partying over internships? And lastly, what about the college students who choose to get into fights that end their college careers? Well check out what happened when this college student destroyed his whole career as a student.
Solamander Johnson, a political science student at a disclosed university was just an ordinary student. He excelled in political science at his college. A political debate came up one evening in class, the debate was about who should be elected president. The debate went a little too far, causing disruption and screaming in the classroom. Another political science student Dean Snaisal, got into an argument with Solamander, and it wasn’t pretty.
Later that night, a frat party took place on campus, and Solamander decided to show up, and guess who was at the party? Dean Snaisal was at the party as well, great this is going to turn out lovely. While Dean wasn’t looking Solamander came around the corner and he gave it to dean alright. A right hook right to his jaw was pretty fatal, causing some of Dean’s front teeth to pop out of his mouth. A group of guys at the party held Solamander back, but the dean of the school didn’t when he found out what happened. This hadn’t been the first time Solamander got into a fight. In March of 2012, he also got into a fight with another student because he didn’t agree with his political actions regarding gay rights.
The dean of the university expelled Solamander for his actions, it was clearly stated. The question is do you agree with the ruling. The dean quoted that “he is a threat to the campus and he is a threat to the student body. We cannot have this going on, especially in college.” We all know that Solamander has issues, but should he really have been expelled? Or should their have been a different ruling? What do you guys think?
