What’s the most embarrassing thing that can happen to a professor? Forgetting a student’s name? Losing the stack of tests your students turned in? Showing up late for lecture? I’m sure those would be embarrassing, but it pretty much pales in comparison to what happened to this professor at Drexel University.
Harvard Law graduate and current professor of law, Lisa McElroy probably wishes that her gaffe could have been anything besides this one. I’m sure we’ve all had it happen, right? You mean to copy and paste a link to something relevant, but you forgot to actually copy it, which means what you paste is a different link entirely. That’s what happened to McElroy when she emailed her class roster with an article she thought would be helpful for their current studies.
