“It’s ridiculous, I think,” said IU student Moses Morgan. “I don’t think people should have to be scared on their own campus.”
“This is the way I walk to go to class every morning,” said student Heaun Cho. “So just walking here this morning I was like, ‘Hmmm…maybe I shouldn’t take this path, but I know that it’s pretty well lit in the morning so I should be fine.'”
“I’m pretty frustrated right off the bat,” said student Jordan Cress. “I’ve been in Bloomington for four or five years, so it’s pretty difficult where the situations become expected. I’m not really shocked when I get the alert in the middle of the night. I’m a petite female, so it’s not great to not feel safe on campus.”
