Lately there has been news breaking around the country relating to colleges in a bad way. Shootings, arrests, robberies. All of the following would be news that college students prefer NOT to hear. Well, there’s now breaking news of a robbery near the San Diego State campus. Here’s the latest:
SAN DIEGO — Three masked men forced their way into a College Area home, fired off a shotgun round and robbed the six people living inside, police said.
All three robbers were wearing Halloween masks when they held up the home at 5600 Mary Lane Drive just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Two of the three were armed, one with a shotgun and the other a handgun, according to police.
The masks worn were described as a court jester mask, a mask from the movie “Scream”, and a clown-type mask, police said.
