College is a time of meeting new people and developing career-building skills to prepare yourself for a promising future. At the same time, you want to join organizations that will better yourself and allow yourself to be a helping-hand to others. Joining greek life is just the answer. Being in a fraternity or sorority is more than just partying your ass off and getting trashed on the reg, it’s about forming an everlasting bond with a group of people and cherishing that with each other for the remainder of your lives. Greek life allows you to lash out of your bubble and experience leadership roles to make yourself more marketable and successful in the real world. It allows you to build a resume of community service and time spent caring for others. It gives you the friends away from home that will eventually become your greatest of friends. The networking opportunities are endless and there are more connections than you can think of. Yeah, sometimes dues can be a little pricey, but they are worth their cost because you will get to do things you never imagined yourself doing, and you will look back on college as an even greater experience than you thought imaginable.
