College is a time when some students will turn 18, some will turn 21, and some will be much older, but at the end of the day all age groups are engaging in parties. Most people don’t reach the age of 21 until their junior or senior year, so getting alcohol and getting into clubs can be quite difficult. The answer to this problem is a fake ID. Having a fake can have its pros and cons. There are several perks, but it is also quite dangerous.
Pros:
You can get into bars and clubs while being able to make beer runs at a younger age than the law allows. You don’t have to rely on other people and be a nuisance.
Cons:
There are some pretty hefty fines, you can get scammed online, and you can even serve jail time. It is crazy how dangerous they can be, yet so many students find themselves dishing out the money.
ALL IN ALL: If you are going to get one, be absolutely careful. Being there are a lot of consequences that come with obtaining fake identification, make sure you are aware of what will happen if you slip up, and enjoy your time at the bar.
