A friend I met at my college did a program called Summer C. She came towards the end of the summer and got a few classes done. She had applied for a random roommate since she didn’t know anyone yet, and what she got was a disaster. Her roommate brought home guys all of the time, constantly hooking up. My friend could deal with that because the guys usually left and didn’t bother her, until one night. Her roommate had invited one of her hometown boy toys to campus, and he decided to bring a friend. That wasn’t a big deal until it got to be bedtime. The kid asked my friend if he could sleep in her bed…he promised he wouldn’t touch her, and he’d sleep against wall. The beds are TINY and this kid was not so normal; he was a bit of a creep, and my friend did not feel comfortable. So, she politely told him no and that she could make him a spot on the floor with blankets. He declined got really angry and left, leaving my poor friend to get dirty glares from both her roommate and the boy toy. You could say she was happy when she got a new roommate for fall semester.
