It seems like houses keep getting bigger and bigger. Most people want mansions but not everyone. Take Christopher Smith and Merete Mueller for example, a couple that decided to build a very tiny home.
In order to build the home, the inexperienced builders watched YouTube videos in order to learn the necessary skills to construct their house and received advice from workers at stores such as Home Depot.
They built the house together and now have settled in Colorado. It uses solar power, fits a queen size bed, and of course has a composting toilet.
“The world gets a lot bigger when you’re living small because I can afford to do a lot more things now in terms of cash and time,” said Christopher “The whole world is my living room.”
