When Boykin went out to the pregame coin toss two weeks ago against Iowa State, he took the time to meet honorary Iowa State captain, seven-year old Abby Faber. Abby is currently fighting spastic diplegia cerebral palsy and after her conversation with Boykin, she said, “I’m famous.”

When Boykin was asked why went out of his way to talk to Faber, he said, “God just put something in my heart to reach out to her!”
