Unless the professor is really strict, usually showing up a little bit late isn’t going to stop you from taking the test. However, sometimes you’ll have someone who shows up looking all frazzled, 15 minutes before the test is over, and there’s really nothing the professor can do. 9. When someone needs to borrow something from you.
“Can I borrow a pencil? Yeah, this is my first day of college and I didn’t know we were supposed to bring things to write with.”
8. Dealing with the “I’m totally going to fail” classmate right before the test.
You know, the one who’s just fishing for compliments by constantly talking about how dumb they are. The only thing they really accomplish is to get everyone else really tense and nervous.
7. Inconspicuously trying to peer at your neighbor’s test.
It’s not cheating, it’s just…giving yourself some positive reinforcement by looking at your neighbor’s test and confirming that your last answer was correct. And changing the answer if it wasn’t correct.
6. When everyone looks up and stares at the first person to finish.
When that smarty pants finishes their test and everybody in the classroom stares at them, it’s just awkward for everyone involved. That person feels like they’re being judged, and the rest of you feel like stupid, stinky dumb-faces.
