Step Five: “Hey, I just met you. And this is crazy. But here’s my number. So call me maybe? “
So here it comes. If you have not been texting, you will probably text for a while. Then it comes to the Facetime. It is so weird seeing this person on a screen and hearing their voice for the first time. But, it is one of the only ways to see if you guys clash or soar before meeting. It may be awkward at first, but once you get to know each other, you will not shut up!
Step Six: The Meet
If you live a reasonable distance, you may meet. Now seeing each other in actual person is strange at the beginning, even if you have been talking for while. It is just the reality of the situation; You feel like you know everything about them, but now, they are right in front of your face! It may be a little awkward at first, but once you relax and get comfortable, you know you have found your roomie. Or maybe you now know to keep searching. For my roommate and I, it was love at first sight. Not literally, “love,” but, I knew I had the person I would find myself with through college was right in front of me, and she knew it, too.
