8. The closest thing to a party is five people drinking together in a cramped room
Yep and you eventually get used to it. It’s not exactly the party scenes you always saw in the movies, but it’s something. Drinking will make everything better eventually.
7. If there’s an event on campus, that’s what you’re doing for fun that night
When there’s an event planned for you on campus you finally have a reason to leave your room and get excited about something even if it is just for a lousy comedian or B rated singer. The other weekend we had a country singer come to campus and nobody had ever heard of the guy, but everyone went because what else is there to do? Am I right?
