This Guy Faked His Own Death to Avoid Marriage (2)

To make matters worse, this was the first time Tucker’s parents found out the couple were engaged.

Lanchester met Tucker Bradford in a Connecticut college in 2012 while she was studying abroad from the UK.

She claimed Bradford was a great boyfriend when they started dating.

“He was such a gentleman. He showered me with jewelries,” said Lanchester. “We would go out for a posh dinner on the 10th of every month to celebrate the day we got together.”

When Lanchester had to fly back home, Bradford surprised her by proposing. She said yes immediately, and was ecstatic to begin wedding plans.

The bride-to-be had already started making arrangements, spending thousands of dollars on venues, invitations, and her dress.

Once Lanchester found out her fiancé lied to her, she tried to call him, but Bradford wouldn’t answer. He eventually sent her a text admitting what he did.
