Police say the two college seniors from Illinois had been forcibly abducted and held against their will. Both students were taken to the hospital, where one is recovering from a gunshot wound. Police say the student was shot in the leg before they began their rescue operation. His injury is non-life-threatening.
Four people have been taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
