UCF Fraternity Apparently Has Done Some Crazy Hazing (4)

“I’m leaving, I’m leaving,” the man said over and over and then he was told to drive somebody else to another location.

The man may have been inside the off-campus apartment for an hour to 90 minutes, the report said.

The university’s investigation showed the fraternity did not follow its rules by notifying the UCF Student Conduct Office about any hazing incidents.

The current Sigma Chi president Jad Shalhoub, who was not the leader at the time of the hazing allegations, told UCF he was shocked by what happened and called it “personal,” the report said.

A brother and a pledge were no longer part of Sigma Chi because of the allegations, Shalhoub said.

He added “.. He thought the lack of transparency by Sigma Chi in regards to the Spring 2015 hazing incident was not a good move by his fraternity” although the national fraternity was notified and felt the issue had been handled properly.
