Why College is Harder than High School (5)

2. No Personal Transportation

This one mainly pertains to underclassmen, but as a broke student it is hard to transport anywhere further than a two mile radius from campus. This has become less of a problem with applications such as a Uber and Lyft that act as personal taxi service, even then they are expensive and can only be used for special occasions.

1. Acclimating to a New Atmosphere

The hardest component of College is adjusting to your new community and personal individuality. You have a lot more freedom than in college and it is your responsibility to use it sustainably. Additionally you will meet many new people and encounter foreign situations that require mental toughness to endure. Ultimately, College is what you make of it and should be an amazing four years of your life.
