9.) The Dress Code
The Dress Code is by far one of the most horrid parts of high school, not just because of the unfairness of it, but also the restriction of individuality, and the discrimination against women. One of the things i keep in mind when dressing is a quote by Marylyn Monroe, “your cloths should be tight enough to show your a women but lose enough to show your a lady.” No one wants to see over expression of the assets, but i have yet to understand how the finger tip rule and no shoulders showing, is the proper way to dress. There are plenty appropriate ways to dress without treating women as strictly sexualized human beings.
