8.) Having to ask to go to the Bathroom
This was one of the most ridiculous rules of high school. Going to the bathroom is a natural healthy function and the school is telling me i have to ask permission?????!!!!! Understandably they do not want kids roaming the halls. But having to get a pass and interrupt a teachers class, its inconsiderate to the other students, it distracts the teachers attention, and takes away more class time then necessary. Not to mention the five minute passing times allow little time to use the restroom. However, high schoolers have abused their bathroom privileges by skipping class, so the school solved this issue with bathroom passes. I will not miss the irresponsiblity of teenagers that led to the created of bathroom passes.
