10 Thoughts When You’re Running Low on Your Meal Plan

Running low on your meal plan is possibly one of the worst things you can experience in college. You could easily just use your card or cash, but it’s not the same as just swiping your meal card and never having to use “real” money.

10. When did this happen?! One minute everything was totally okay and you had tons of money, and then it all just disappeared. It had to have been some form of magic or something because there’s no way you spent that much in such little time.

9. I can totally save this for the rest of the semester. You think that you can save up whatever you have left and make it last till the end of the semester. I hate to break it to you, but you’re in denial.

8. I need to stop eating so much. Don’t blame this problem on how much you love food because that’s not the problem here. You eat just the perfect amount and if you love food, then enjoy it and never give up on it.

7. No I don’t, it’s not my fault the school charges an arm and a leg for food! The cost of food on college campuses is actually ridiculous. You may not realize it when because you’re using a meal plan, but the minute that plan disappears it’s as if you’re seeing price tags for the first time.

6. I’m screwed. There’s no way I can make this last till the end of the semester. All you want to do now is prove everyone wrong. You might not be able to make it last till the end of the semester, but you might be able to stretch it out for as long as possible.
