Everyone knows that when you go to college, you have to spend the majority of your first two years getting all the boring general education classes out of the way before you can enroll in some of the more interesting courses or the higher level ones pertaining to your major. If you’re going for your bachelor’s degree, chances are you’ll have to take most of the classes on this list (or some equivalent.) I’ll warn you right now: it’s going to suck. That’s okay, though, because every college student has to endure the trauma. These are among the worst classes you will encounter in your college career.
15. Art history.
Even if you’re interested in art history, there’s nothing interesting about the survey course where they just drone on and on about the dates of historical periods and gloss over various famous names you’ve heard before. So many dates and names to memorize.

14. Organic chemistry.
If you’re doing anything science or medical, this class is going to be a necessity for you. If by some miracle, you can avoid taking it, you’re crazy fortunate. Not only is it ridiculously hard, it’s not even interesting to make up for that fact.

13. American literature or drama.
If you think British literature is boring, it’s nothing compared to how boring basic American literature can be. And this is coming from someone with a degree in English, who actually has an appreciation for literature. This class is still the worst.

12. Accounting.
Numbers, numbers, numbers. Boring.

11. Literary criticism.
For some people, it’s hard enough to stomach literature, let alone the books and books people have written about analyzing and criticizing famous literature. Yes, it’s as dry and monotonous as it sounds.
