20 Facts You’ll Learn in Your Twenties

I was so thrilled when I turned twenty. I was finally out of that teenage era and onto a new one. Everybody always talks about how great your twenties are and how much fun you will have. No one mentions the responsibilities that come along with your new age. Beyond all the fun and games, there is some important information that you will eventually have to learn… no matter how much you dread it.

20) You have to work hard. Nothing is handed to you anymore. What you put in is what you get out.

19) The term “best friends forever” does not mean forever. It usually means until you graduate high school and your adolescent friends move on to bigger and better events. But, that is okay, because you are moving on, too.

18) Getting drunk does not make you popular. Most people will not care if you go out on a Thursday night or stay home and watch Jeopardy.

17)Napping is perfect. Cherish your sleep, it is not just for kids.

16) Mommy does not do your laundry forever. Learn to separate your whites and darks.
