23 Things Every Pitt Student Needs to Do Before They Graduate (3)

16. Go kayaking: The only advice I can offer is to NOT FALL into the Monongahela because you’ll probably get some sort of disease. There’s nothing better than being surrounded by so much water, the beautiful bridges, the fountain at the Point, and getting a good workout in.

15. Go to a Pirates game – there’s often discount tickets by some sort of student organization. Obviously check out the Penguins, Steelers, and Riverhounds too, but unfortunately some of those tickets are not college-budget appropriate.

14. Make friends with someone who lives in Nordenberg so they can sign you in because that is one hell of a dorm with TVs everywhere, student lounges on every floor, and…golden toilets.

13. See a play or a show that Pitt puts on through their various theater clubs. There’s usually a fun Halloween event and shows a few times a semester, and they are most likely all free with your Pitt ID so why not check it out?

12. Find a trustworthy pierogi guy – or place, but Pittsburgh’s pierogies seem so special because of the large population of Polish people. They’re so special that the Pirates have pierogies race around PNC Park every home game.
