4.) Numbers Don’t Lie
This year might be the first time in our history that more than half of our population wants to see marijuana legalized. According to the Pew Research Center “In 2010, 41 percent of Americans supported legalization. By 2015, 53 percent favored it.” I don’t think i need to explain why this is a monumental change in the way that our country views marijuana, so many of us grew up constantly hearing about the evil reefer plant and all of the worries and woes it brings with it. Our country is finally starting to look at the plant in a way akin to how we view alcohol, a recreational substance that can be good or bad depending on how much you use it.
