NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–College Avenue turned into a crime scene on October 30 as Rutgers University Police Department (RUPD) investigated a double-stabbing at Mettler Hall.
The suspect in the incident, which occurred out front of the dormitory shortly before 7pm, may have also suffered serious injuries.
Ambulances were dispatched to the main residential quad on campus, where Brett, Tinsley, and Mettler Halls are located.
“Earlier tonght, we had an aggravated assault in front of Mettler Hall,” said RUPD Deputy Cheif Michael Rein.
“We found 2 victims,” said Rein. “The victims were transported to Robert Wood [Johnson University Hospital.”
