You can say college students spend money on different things. Whether it’s textbooks, housing, meal plans, or for alcohol, college students are always spending money. But have you ever looked at your bank account and realized that you could have so much more money if you just spent it more wisely? We’re all definitely guilty of spending money we don’t have. School stuff is necessary and it’s inevitable that you’re going to spend a pretty penny on your education.
However, there are some things that aren’t really in your budget but find yourself over drafting or racking up a bill on your credit card. Whenever you read your statement, you have a total WTF moment and suddenly remember that your impulse buys were probably not worth it, especially when you’re ballin’ on a budget.

21. I buy (kinda) expensive ingredients sometimes, and I forget I have them, and they go bad. Multiple times a month probably.
20. I paid a horse psychic. To talk to my horse. Seriously.
19. I spent money on the app “Pocketfrogs” – about $20. It was to get better frogs.

17. I buy exercise equipment that I don’t use. They become dust collectors in the garage.
