4. The second type is the next step up: the bar that everyone goes to after house parties. This bar is a definite difference from the big name bar. The crowd is mostly made up of upperclassmen, but that doesn’t stop the occasional freshman from making their way in. This bar is cleaner but still definitely a good spot to party, and places like this typically have a standard staff of bartenders so it’s not hard to get to know people. Just tip well if you want your drinks to stay strong. Nothing looks worse than a ten cent tip on an eight dollar drink. Also expect to hear the same playlist of music here each night, but the upside is you’ll be able to drunkenly belt out all the songs after a week or two. Just make sure you can actually make it here from whatever party you were at first.
