Why Every Girl Should be a ‘Girl’s Girl” (2)

For that reason, I have always been “a girl’s girl.” And I believe if you don’t recognize yourself as a girl’s girl, you’re more insecure than you are willing to admit. There will always be women that are nasty, unkind or harsh, just as there will always be men that act the same. To say that you will accept that behavior from men, but not from women, is only disrespecting yourself.

Invest in other women; make them realize their potential to be smart, kind, and independent individuals. Take your friendships with other women seriously. Make her realize how strong and important she is.
