5. Chopped- The most intense show on Food Network because someone always decides to make a salad or a glaze when there is literally 10 seconds left and they somehow always finish in time. You then fall for someone’s sentimental story and continue watching even after they lose to make sure the super cocky guy doesn’t win.
4. Degrassi- You’ve probably (hopefully) stopped watching this by now, but I just wanted to remind you of the countless seasons you spent trying to find out who would end up dating, who,who would die/get hurt in some freak accident, who would get pregnant, and who would randomly leave the show. You probably couldn’t watch anymore because you knew it would just keep going on and on, but now you’re reminded of the frustration of not knowing. (Go search it now.)
3. South Park- We will continually laugh at the amount of celebrities and characters in the show they make fun of in the worst ways possible, but once you get past that you see how repetitive it is. There is some problem the boys don’t completely understand, so that either takes them the whole episode to figure out, or they come up with an elaborate scheme that falls apart and then they learn they were wrong. 
2. Grey’s Anatomy- Everyone is dying whether you like it or not, but in between that there are people getting in relationships, marriages, breaking up/divorcing, cheating, babies, people getting hurt and not dying yet, diseases, and too many mass catastrophes for these poor doctors to handle. Yet, we continue watching to hold on to our favorite characters before they die. 
1. Modern Family- Phil will alway try to be cool and never will be, Claire will always be uptight, Haley will always not be the brightest (but at least she is finally with Andy), Alex will always be smart, and Luke will always do insanely dumb things. Cameron and Mitch will continue to get on each others’ nerves but will always make up, and Lily will still be spoiled. Jay will always be old, Gloria will still be gorgeous, Manny will still act too old for his age. But it’s hilarious.
