Four Initial Thoughts You have When Entering The Dining Hall (2)

3. How Long Is The Smoothie Line?

Smoothies are key component to college health. Don’t believe me? Consider this. Fruits and vegetables are filled with key nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. However, the normal fruit and vegetable lines sometimes don’t have a lot of variety, but the smoothie line is a different story. It provides a solid selection of strawberries, pineapples, raspberries, blueberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, and spinach. Once you figure out what you want to fill your cup with, you also get a choice of vanilla or strawberry yogurt and apple juice, orange juice, or water. This is all fine and dandy, but sometimes the line for this healthy excellence goes all the way out the cafeteria door. Then the question becomes how much time do I have? If the answer is over fifteen minutes, the smoothie is totally worth it. If it’s under fifteen minutes, then there’ll be a time crunch, but you can always chow down the rest of your food while standing in line. If it’s under 10 minutes, then you should probably pass till next time.
