Every professor has a different method of how they create their tests, some will give you a study guide, others will use the notes or book. Missing Study Sessions
If your professor is willing to take time out of their day to have a study session or some sort of study event you better make your best effort to be there. this is when most professors will reward the students who work hard in the class because you can bet they will be there and exam material will be covered!

Not Backing Up Your Laptop
For the love of all that is good BACKUP YOUR FILES! Keep a jump drive on your keychain and save a copy of all your important work. One other great option is using Google Docs because all of your work is auto backed up to the Cloud as you type. Save everything! Losing all of your files is as easy as one Starbucks coffee spill.

Being Party Try-Hards
It’s exciting to party for the first time, but make sure to get the feel of college parties before making a complete fool of yourself. There is absolutely no need to drink everything in sight. It will not only piss off the people throwing the party, but it’s a good way to land yourself in the hospital. Keep a low-profile the first few times and go from there.image
