The Perks of Having Your Mom As Your Best Friend (2)

Having your mom as your best friend is awesome because you’ll always have someone to go shopping with, get your nails done with, and go on fun adventures with. She may also probably pay for all of these things, too, which is clutch. Just kidding, kinda. You’ll never have to go to restaurants alone when you’re craving your favorite foods because she’s always down for a ride. If you ever need an exercise buddy, she’ll be willing to drop everything and go with you, even if it is just a walk around the block. When you’re sick, she’s the one who stays up all night with you holding your hair or rubbing your back until you feel better. If you’re hurt, she’ll be sitting right next to you in the ER waiting room for hours making jokes about the hot doctors and nurses. Unless she’s the one who does something stupid to injure herself, like the picture below, then she knows you’ll be there for her, too.

You’ll never have to go through hard times alone; she’ll always be there to pick you back up and encourage you to keep moving forward. Strength is one of the most important things you must learn how to have in your life, and I can truly say my strength has come directly from my mother. Without her, I would be nothing. She’s taught me all of the life lessons I’ll ever need. She’s taught me how to not only love others but to also love myself. She’s the only person who accepts me 110% and wouldn’t change a single thing about me.
