We hate to hear stories like this on college campuses and rape is a major issue that needs to stop. The latest rape story comes from George Mason University.
FAIRFAX, Va. (ABC7) — Police at George Mason University say they are “actively investigating” two student rapes, just days apart.
“Obviously it’s something disturbing to find out,” says Ally Cavanaugh, a junior at the school. “Really sad that it’s happening.”
Investigators say the first attack occurred last Thursday evening.
The victim told police she was raped in a dorm or in an off-campus apartment, by another student she knew.
She told police she wasn’t sure, because she may have unknowingly been drugged.
