While some of you may be doing some post Thanksgiving relaxation of maybe even going back for seconds, or thirds, on turkey Friday, others are doing a whole lot of running. The ceremonial game ball for Saturday’s Virginia Tech football game at the University of Virginia has to get there somehow and the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity is getting the ball to the stadium in an unusual way. They may not be the stars of the Virginia Tech football team, but the FIJI men as they’re known, will be spending a whole lot of time with the special football.

“We team up with the UVA chapter of FIJI and we run the ball from the visiting school to the home school,” FIJI Run Across Virginia Coordinator Kevin Musco said.
