4.Your boss could be one of your professors. 
Or at the very least have some great connections around the campus somewhere. Which can really pay off the next time you need to get into that class which is already full.
3.Your boss probably understands that you have to have study time too.
At my college, we have these days called study days right before finals where all classes are cancelled to give us more time to prepare for our exams. On these days work was optional. We could go if we needed a productive study break but we weren’t expected to come.
