A few hours later, at about five in the morning I get a text from my roommate asking if I’ll come pick them up, I get off the couch and hop in my car to go save them. Once I arrive at the house, I tell them I’m outside and I wait for them to come out. Minutes later, the front door flies open and out comes two of them. They jump in the car and I ask where the third one is. Apparently she fell asleep in one of the rooms and I laughed and told them to go get her because she left her phone at the apartment. Both of them get out of the car and run up the lawn to retrieve her.
About five minutes pass and out comes my friend Miranda, but she is carrying something which at first I thought was our friend. As she got closer to the car I realize it was a Yeti cooler and I start laughing uncontrollably. Shortly after, here comes my roommate Morgan, and our friend Holley, who fell asleep inside. They are running as fast as they can towards the car as Miranda is putting the cooler in the back seat. After they all fly in the car they tell me to drive as fast as I can back to the apartment and as I do so I ask them what happened when they went to get Sleeping Beauty. They explained to me that when they went inside to retrieve her, Morgan jokingly said “I bet you won’t take that cooler.” Miranda grabbed it and ran.
