“I can’t remember where I parked my car.”
When living on such a small campus, it becomes more of a hassle to have a car than it is to not have one. It usually just stays in one parking spot for a few days at a time until you begin to crave McDonald’s or you need a trip to the local Wal-Mart.
“Eh, it’s not like I have anyone to impress.”
It is likely that everyone knows just about everyone, so go to the gym in that nasty white tee. Really, no one will care because they have seen you at your best and your worst.
“Well, I will probably see him (or her), so I should look nice.”
On the other hand, if you are crushing on someone, it is very likely that he or she will see you wherever you are heading on campus.
“Do not take that professor.”
The small school atmosphere reaches passed the student body; it is in the staff, too. Asking around before registering for classes this spring could easily help in making the perfect schedule. Ratemyprofessor.com is hardly a resource for us.
“I know just about everyone in my class.”
Some you have met at the bar and others you met in on-campus clubs, but there are very few you do not know at all.
“My friend used to live in this room!”
We have made memories all over this small campus, so going back to dorm rooms or on-campus apartments brings back so many memories from the younger and dumber days (or as I call it, freshman year).
