Up at 9 and mimosas by 10, that’s how Boulder tailgates. Tailgating season in Boulder is better than Christmas. Students are dressed in their most creative variations of black and gold Buff gear dedicated the cause of getting as drunk as possible before the game starts. Nothing says school spirit like day-raging, right? Here’s the catch, 80% of Boulder students either cannot or do not make it to the game. I guess they figure, if the team won’t win the game, the students better win the tailgate.
1. There simply is no other school like the University of Colorado Boulder.
It’s more than four years of your life and a college diploma. People dream of going to the University of Colorado, and once they’ve been, they’re changed forever. So sure, the football team may not be much of a force to be reckoned with, but there are plenty of ways in which the University of Colorado really wins it all.
