10. Never buy your books from the school bookstore.
They’re so overpriced, and you may not even need them. Wait until the first day of class when the professor will tell you what you actually need, then hit up Amazon for better deals.
9. Enroll for next semester as early as possible.
Sometimes it’s ridiculous how fast classes fill up. Find out when your enrollment period starts and take care of it that day. Otherwise, you probably won’t be able to find any of the classes your need, or you’ll wind up taking them on Fridays at 9:00pm, or something.
8. Don’t go out every night.
It’s not good on your wallet, your body, or your studies. It’s hard to feel like you’re missing out, but sometimes you just need to take a break.
7. Keep in touch with your high school friends.
These are the kind of friendships you’ll be so happy you still have in a few years. It’s worth the effort.
6. Boil an egg in your ramen noodles.
Protein. That’s all you need to know.
5. Find a secluded bathroom on campus and adopt it as your own.
You never know when you’re going to need a bathroom, badly. Sometimes the privacy is a godsend.
