What a beautiful place for any college student to spend their day off! Lockegee is an adventure right down the road, and chances are pretty good you have spent many a day unwinding here. Sitting on a giant rock drinking beer is twice as fun as it sounds, and it sounds pretty fun to begin with.

Lockegee isn’t the only beautiful piece of nature near campus.
3.) The ONE Spot Where People Can Smoke
MSU is strictly no smoking, so whether you smoke or not you are aware (sometimes painfully so) that there is only one spot on campus to smoke.

Okay, I know all colleges party, but MSU throws down. Why is that couch on fire? Fuck it, take this shot.

Burt Bacharach once said “A small town is a place where there is no place to go where you shouldn’t.”Morehead proves that there is truth to that statement! We have already discussed all of the amazing scenery and small businesses there are to be enjoyed, and chances are pretty good you have already explored every square inch of them. Nothing beats feeling like you are at home, and nothing makes you feel at home more than a cozy small town vibe. Whether you are in a frat, the quidditch team, or a basketball player; chances are pretty good you treat your fellow MSU students like they are your friends; and that is what makes a small town, a small town.
