College Girl Tells Wild Story About How She Got Out Of Her Exam

3

Exam week had arrived and I found myself spending twelve hours in the university library. From mental breakdowns to feeling like a genius there was nothing more I could do, the exam date has arrived. On this particular day I had two of my most important exams, biochem and anatomy. These two exams will make or break my nursing school GPA.

Biochem was first. I struggled during the two hour exam, as I spent most of my time preparing for the anatomy exam considering it was worth 4 credits. I finished the biochem exam with a weight on my shoulders knowing I had failed (I ended up getting a 48% lol). As I was walking out of the exam room I started to not feel so good. The room became black tunnel vision and my ears felt as if they were under water. I spotted my friend hanging outside the room and I ran up to her explaining my symptoms.

Immediately, I was sat on a bench where I was unable to control my pain in my lower abdomen. I needed to go home. I had made the decision I could not sit through another 2 hour exam. I asked my friend to quickly walk me back to my dorm, and with that I took at least 4 steps before falling to the ground. My body seized and I went unconscious. The pain in my lower abdomen was uncontrollable and unbearable. This soon got the attention of my professor who was leaving the exam room and many of my fellow nursing students. (Good thing i’m a nursing major, right?) Soon I had a crowd around me supporting my head and trying to cool my 103F body.

My professor ended up calling 911 in which my campus police, fire department, and EMS all responded. I had caused the biggest scene and to make matters worse my lunch wasn’t settling very well. “I don’t feel very well”, I told my friend. Within a matter of seconds I ended up puking in the hallway of exam. My poor professor began to clean it up as I kept apologizing. Within this moment, I was lying on the floor crying and sobbing in pain, with vomit on me, and my fellow colleagues watching- including my ex boyfriend…don’t I look so attractive right now??

I was soon rolled out and taken by EMS to the local hospital (where everyone walking on campus saw me, so embarrassing). Once arriving, I was ran through tests and came to find out it was appendicitis. I was soon taken into emergency surgery, ultimately missing my anatomy exam. My professor had heard the story before I had even gotten a chance to email him, as word spread very fast throughout my major.

Once I was released from the hospital, I returned back to campus. To my luck I had gotten out of my exam and given a replacement. Sometimes I would have gathered taken the exam instead of having this huge ordeal happen, but I ended up with a passing grade in the course. I wish I could’ve passed out before the biochem exam, I ended up failing that course (lol).
