Meteorite Collapses On University Of Arizona Student’s Hand

Hey kids! Be safe, and stay out of trouble. And, if there happens to be a meteorite in front of your eyes, try your best NOT to get hurt. Haven’t we been told something similar to this all of our lives? This was not the case for a University of Arizona student about a year ago. This story has been brought back in the spotlight now that the student is engaged in a lawsuit with the University.

The student was said to be hanging out at a museum on campus doing community service. At least when I do community service, I try to shield my tiny hands from being crushed by 270 pounds of a meteorite, but that is just me.

Now, the poor guy does not have a pinky and parts of his hand and fingers are paralyzed. It turns out, the student was a musician, and now the meteorite has gotten in the way of that.

This is a really sad and unfortunate story. Nobody expected this to go down so badly.

So, the moral of the story: Meteorites are dangerous and can crush your hands (and your future).
