Survival Of The Hottest: Tinder Version

Just a few tips of how to not get swiped left on every time. Keep in mind, tinder is a very shallow app, it’s just the way it is.

-Unless all your friends and you are attractive….no group photos.
As soon as someone sees a group with one unattractive person in it, it’s assumed that they’re the one with the tinder because that’s usually the case. Avoid group pictures as your first picture anyway, but if needed, make sure you’re all at the same attractive level.

-Don’t pose with a hotter friend.
If you’re super attractive and you pose with an even more super attractive person, people are still going to want to swipe left so they can find your hotter friend. It’s a fact of life.

-Don’t have a member of the opposite sex in your picture.
Unless the person viewing happens to be a certified homewrecker, this makes most people uncomfortable. Especially if you two seem to be in a very cuddly pose…then it’s assumed that you’re dating and you shouldn’t be using tinder in the first place which equals an automatic left.

-Check your pictures before fb uploads them.
Facebook will upload whatever first few profile pics you have, so make sure you check them. Otherwise you’ll get childhood, awkward teenage years, and all around strange pictures. They could also be cropped weird so people get to see your whole body, but not your face.

-Don’t put pictures of your car, dog, fraternity/sorority page, etc.
The people want to see you… If you aren’t in your car or with your pet then don’t put it up, and leave the sorority and fraternity page info in your bio. Basically if it doesn’t have you in it, delete it.

-Don’t have only one picture.
People can take good pictures, and people can take bad pictures. If you happen to be the kid with only one picture that’s absolutely fantastic but looks nothing like you in real life, you’re gonna make some people angry, and vice versa!

-Lastly, if you have a twin…post pictures of just you PLEASE!
Do NOT post multiple pictures of you and your twin! No one can figure out which one you are…so put up some singulars…
