5. Go See a Movie

There are tons of new, exciting movies out around the holidays.  Pick out your favorite one and take yourself on a date.  Splurge on the ten dollar popcorn and the extra butter, because you are worth it.

4. Go Online Shopping

Remember that dress you saw on your favorite website a couple months back that you loved?  You didn’t buy it then, but you should definitely go for it now.  Treat yourself.

3. Take a Hike

Put on your trail boots and grab your backpack.  Find a trail with a nice view and take a stroll.  Play music, or enjoy the silence.  Nature is a cureall for stress.

2. Play a Video Game

With all the video games coming out in time for Christmas, your options are incredibly diverse!  Try something you’ve never played before, like Fallout 4 or Life is Strange.

1. Sleep

If none of these other options seem appealing, sleeping is never a bad idea.  As a college student, it has probably been a while since you have been in bed at a reasonable hour.  Take a break away from all your studying to take a small nap, or a long coma.  Your body needs rest in order to be at its maximum productivity level, so let it have its needs.
