7. Family Trees Sometimes it’s just too hard to wrap your head around the idea of twins and Grand Bigs (and that’s only one branch). The easiest way to think about family trees is to think of your own family. You have siblings, and parents, and grandparents and aunts and uncles and so on and so forth. Family trees in Greek organizations follow the same outline, but the family tree is based on Big/Little pairings. So doing a side-by-side comparison of a sorority/fraternity family tree next to your own family tree would make it look as though your Big is your parent etc.
