There are few things more fun than Halloween weekend at college, and it’s finally here. Follow these steps to have the best halloween of your life.
1. Prepare to dress up
Even if you are doing it last minute you HAVE to dress up. It’s freaking Halloween, when else do we get to wear crazy (scandalous) outfits out like that? You have no reason to not dress up. If you don’t already have a costume, or a few costumes if you are like me, you better get started! There are so many simple yet fun ideas on the internet and I promise there are even costumes that will fit into your minuscule college budget. Use these tips to help pick that perfect costume:
2. Make Thursday a weekend day
Who needs Friday classes on Halloween weekend? Just skip and party Thursday too. I swear you won’t regret it. Nothing better than three days of dressing up, drinking up, and going a little crazy. You only have one Halloween a year; who cares about other responsibilities.
3. Get the perfect amount of drunk
Drunk enough to have the time of your life, but not to drunk to not remember. I mean, that’s the key every weekend, but it is definitely even more important for Halloween. You will want to be able to remember what an amazing time you had.
4. Make plans for parties to hit up
Again, this may be something you do every weekend, but it is essential for Halloween to plan out your nights. You don’t want to waste even a second trying to find somewhere fun to go.
5. Take a million pictures
Halloween is the best excuse for a photo shoot. Take pictures with anyone and everyone. Make them funny or cute or stupid it doesn’t matter. And you must stick them on Instagram so that everyone can be jealous of your amazing Halloween.
6. Indulge in a little (or a lot) of candy to celebrate an awesome Halloween
After all your wild nights out, you are going to be hungry. There is nothing better than stuffing your face with a little Halloween candy. Pretend it’s from trick-or-treating. All your friends can sit and drunkenly laugh and share candy just like back in the day (well kind of)
